Got the Winter Blues?

Ah, February! My all-time favorite month.
It may be the shortest month of the year, but it can offer a lot of opportunity for fun.
Let's take a quick look at February 2015.
We had The Superbowl, Groundhog Day (yep, more winter for us), snow days (unofficial, unexpected holidays), Valentine's Day, Presidents' Day, and Mardi Gras, to name a few.
But most associate February with cold, snow, ice, and frozen pipes.

To counter-act the negatives of February, we thought we'd put a positive spin on it!

Welcome to:
"Oh how I LOVE MATH Jokes, let me count the ways..."

We had a great time researching, writing and sharing math jokes. Hope these put a smile of your face and help wipe away your winter blues.

Why is the obtuse triangle always upset?

Because he is never right.

What did the zero say to the eight?

Nice Belt!
(picture 0 and 8).

How much do pirates pay for corn?

A buccaneer.
(Get it? A buck an ear)

How do you make seven even?

Take away the "s"

These "jokes" are painful for some, but our students have LOVED them! And if it puts a smile on their faces (and makes them think a little more about math) then the pain was worth it!
